It has been exhilarating (yet not surprising) to hear the reports that Israel is having success with COVID-19 patients who have been treated with stem cell therapy.

The Lord has been showing many believers prior to this announcement that the cure is in the stem cells.  This quote is taken from sciencedaily.com:  “According to new research, stem cells intentionally cut and then repair their own DNA as a mechanism of activating genes that promote the development of new tissues”  

So how is this spiritual in any way?  Well, first of all, God has been speaking this word to His prophets, for a few months already and according to Amos 3:7 (AMPC) 7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing [a]without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.  We really should have the download before the rest of the world hears it, don’t you think?

Secondly, the deep and hidden things of nature and science are hiding in plain sight in God’s Holy Word, the Bible. When I find out that a young person is heading to college to study in the field of science, I always encourage them to dig into the Word for revelation about their field of study.

I remember when articles began showing up about the discovered protein called Laminin (pictured above).  As you can see Laminin is shaped like a cross.  I gleaned this explanation from answersingenesis.org: “Laminin is a protein that is part of the extracellular matrix in humans and animals. The extracellular matrix (ECM) lies outside of cells and provides support and attachment for cells inside organs (along with many other functions). Laminin has “arms” that associate with other laminin molecules to form sheets and bind to cells. Laminin and other ECM proteins essentially “glue” the cells (such as those lining the stomach and intestines) to a foundation of connective tissue. This keeps the cells in place and allows them to function properly. The structure of laminin is very important for its function (as is true for all proteins). One type of congenital muscular dystrophy results from defects in laminin.”

So in laymen’s terms, it’s the glue that holds us together.  I love how the Word confirms this “glue”

Psalm 139:13  For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb.  

We have this Psalm as an example of personally being knit, glued, or held together as we are being formed.

Colossians 2:19

And not holding fast to the Head, from Whom the entire body, supplied and knit together by means of its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

We have Colossians as an example of the entire body of Christ also being knit, glued, or held together by the Lord.

So before this whole crisis began I was worshipping one Sunday morning and the Lord spoke these words to me: “Begin to call forth the cross in the DNA of my people everywhere.” As I ask Him what He meant, I felt stirred to go to Ezekiel chapter 37.

37 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.

2 And He caused me to pass round about among them, and behold, there were very many [human bones] in the open valley or plain, and behold, they were very dry.

3 And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, You know!

4 Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O you dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath and spirit to enter you, and you shall live;

6 And I will lay sinews upon you and bring up flesh upon you and cover you with skin, and I will put breath and spirit in you, and you [dry bones] shall live; and you shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service].

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a [thundering] noise and behold, a shaking and trembling and a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone.

8 And I looked and behold, there were sinews upon [the bones] and flesh came upon them and skin covered them over, but there was no breath or spirit in them.

9 Then said He to me, Prophesy to the breath and spirit, son of man, and say to the breath and spirit, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath and spirit, and breathe upon these slain that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath and spirit came into [the bones], and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great host.

11 Then He said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried up and our hope is lost; we are completely cut off.

12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, O My people; and I will bring you [back home] to the land of Israel.

13 And you shall know that I am the Lord [your Sovereign Ruler], when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, O My people.

14 And I shall put My Spirit in you and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land. Then you shall know, understand, and realize that I the Lord have spoken it and performed it, says the Lord.

Most of you know this passage of Scripture quite well.  The fresh revelation for me from this portion of Ezekiel was that the cross which holds us together has not been called up and recognized in the bones of our people for decades. Most of us in the body of Christ now understand that it’s our job to decree and declare out loud and set things in order on the earth with our powerful prayers (not begging God to do things for us with wimpy, lifeless, helpless prayers).  We are to decree and call forth the cross in the DNA of humanity to wake up and begin to recognize the Messiah, Jesus Christ our Lord.

As a society, we once walked in the ways of the Lord.  We acknowledged our Creator in all that we did.  We no longer do that.  Just like those dry bones in the valley, we have allowed the God-given DNA that responds to the Cross of Christ to dry up and die.  We have allowed it in our spiritual apathy.  Our complacency has caused many to not have ever even heard of the beautiful name of Jesus.

I felt this was a tool and a key in the spirit to call the lost in general but to also call the prodigals back to their first love. Many grew up in the Lord but the lies and idolatry of their minds have blinded them from being able to see the cross and the one who died for them out of His pure love.  They forget that He is the one who holds them together.  I am sure that many of you reading this have prodigals that you would desperately love to see come back to a relationship with Jesus.  I implore you to take up your authority and decree powerful prayers for your friends and family members that have yet to acknowledge the glue that holds them together. Our wonderful Savior!

These above-quoted Scriptures can be turned into powerful declarations:

Lord, we decree and declare that even now the cross in the DNA of our prodigals is being re-awakened to Your saving grace and Your love.  We call forth their dry bones according to Ezekiel 37 and we say, “Hear the Word of the Lord.”  We prophesy that the breath of the Holy Spirit will be put in you and you will live for all eternity.  We call the prodigals into a new life and declare that they shall know and understand that the Lord has spoken and they are knit (glued) together in the body of Christ.  We declare this in Jesus’ name, amen!
